Drainage Pipe Re-lining and Re-patching
Drain Re-Lining is a brilliant new form of a No-Dig Repair Technology. Drain Re-Lining is proven and established method of placing a new pipe within an existing damaged pipe without excavation and with minimal disruption. Drain lining has been proven to save money, time and is less disruptive
When you request a drain relining service the first step is to identify the cause that has damaged the drainage pipe work. We will enter a CCTV inspection camera into the pipe to assess the damage and observe is a drain liner would be advisable. On observation we would record the distance required, including all diameters, and make of pipe work. We would then observe the working area or premises and provide a full no obligation quotation.
Drain Relining explained
Drain Re-lining is a specialized form of sleeve similar to glass reinforced plastic. It is strong and high quality. The sleeve (new pipe) is measured to the length of the damaged pipe or drain run and cut to size. The sleeves are only 3mm in thickness and will create no flow loss. On measurements the team engineers will mix together special resin containing an activating catalyst to impregnated into the sleeve (new pipe) prior to installation.
On installation to the damaged pipe work they will then insert special inversion pipe from air pressure machine or water method machine to create the new pipe to push tightly to the damaged existing pipe work and create a new pipe installation. The existing pipe line now has a new pipe line inserted in which is tough, strong and sealed to the wall surface. This will now make a better smooth flow along the pipe lines with no obstructions or defects. Please contact us for advice on drain re-liners.
One major benefit of this type of service is that it can work out cheaper than excavation, as you’re only paying for a relining service and it’s a fairly common process for any professional drainage company to carry out.
While your pipes might be out of action for a short while, this is the quickest way to get them fixed, you only need to wait for the new lining to be sealed to the pipes and the holes and damage will be gone. We offer a full DVD of the newly install drain liner if applicable.
